2 more birthday cards

Hello again, Told I have been busy :) These are 2 more of my creations. Both for female birthday.

Different material and styles were used for these cards.

The purple one have a mixed media kind of approach with lace, chipboard shapes,ribbon and even gilding, while the golden/orange one is yet a more simple layout. Hope you like them. Until next time have a great time crafting xx

Purple Card

Hello everyone, Haven't been around lately as I have been busy with all forms of cards for various occasions. This one I am posting today I in big format (A4 size). I love using purple and since the client wasn't fussy about what to use I decided to go for purple and Foamiran flowers. These are handmade by me as well and were featured in my previous post. I simply love these flowers! Apart from the flowers I have used lace, die cuts, beautiful patterned paper, glitter paper and also gems for a feminine card.

New Passion...Foamiran

Apart from my love of card making and anything paper, recently I have discovered a new passion. Foamiran. This is a new foam type material which is especially made to create real-like flowers. I am still experimenting but I am quite happy with the results. What do you think??

I am Graziella Busuttil, I live in Marsa, Malta and this is my blog! 
I have been doing crafts since I was a kid, and have tried quite a few, from knitting to sewing to cross-stitching, drawing, parchment, ganutel (which is making flowers with a combination of wire & thread - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganutell), and various techniques related to card making such as stamping & embossing, quilling, 3D decoupage just to mention a few.  
Recently I also fell in love with mixed media and foamiran flowers, which I'm still in the learning process of both.
